Wide reaching investigation into Palmerstown Village murder needed – Keating

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Mid-West, Derek Keating has extended his condolences to those affected by the violent murder that took place in Palmerstown Village yesterday (Tuesday). Deputy Keating has also called for a thorough and wide reaching investigation into this crime.
“Since this incident occurred I have spoken to many residents and they have expressed to me their fears that a similar incident could take place in this area. Palmerstown Village is home to a settled community with many older residents, as well as young families.
“People in the area are concerned about crime in the area, especially drug related crime. It is essential that yesterday’s incident and all other crime in the area are fully investigated to reassure residents.
“I am confident that the Gardaí, led by Superintendent Connolly, will carry out an extensive investigation into this incident and I would encourage anyone who was in the area to come forward to assist in any way that they can.”
