What projects would FF leave out? – O’Donovan
30th September 2015 - Aoife Carragher
“If Fianna Fáil is so dissatisfied with the Capital Investment Plan announced yesterday (Tuesday), they should outline which projects they would like to omit”, says Fine Gael TD for Limerick, Patrick O’Donovan.
“The Government has laid out its plan to invest €27 billion over the next six years. Our plan is there for everyone to read. If Fianna Fáil is so unhappy with the plan as it stands, they should tell the people which projects they would have left out.
“The plan laid out today is dependent not only on the decisions that have been made by this Government, but also on the choices made by future Governments. If Fianna Fáil is in power next time around, what will they leave out? Investment in infrastructure? More Garda resources? Improved broadband? Improvements in our schools?
“The people have heard enough of Fianna Fáil’s criticism. It’s time to come up with some detail.”
