continue to be made to create apprenticeship opportunities under various
trades; the degree to which specific shortage have been identified; and if he
will make a statement on the matter.

On 30 June, my predecessor published an implementation plan for the
recommendnations of the recent Review of Apprenticeship Training in Ireland,
whioch sets out how current apprenticeships will be renewed and how the
apprenticeship model will be extended to new enterprise sectors. The
Apprenticeship Implementation Plan is available on my Department’s website.
