As a psychotherapist, I have a natural interest and focus on positive health initiatives, and want to work to forge changes that are progressive and are aimed at health and well-being of all people, young and old.
I value living in this area with precious beaches, cycle tracks, harbours, hill walks and parks. I am a keen cyclist and tennis player and really value our local clubs. As a parent, I want to see the best schools and sport facilities here for our young people.
This Government has focussed on job creation and has succeeded in that task. Jobs bring money in to our economy; I want to ensure our area benefits from job creation and the economic lift. Running my own company gives me an insight in to the challenges for the self -employed and I will proactively support all our local businesses.
I run a successful and established practice in Raheny. Prior to psychotherapy, I worked for twelve years at Aer Lingus and I also studied Mathematics and Economics at UCD. I stood in the Local Elections of 2014 as I wanted to act rather than sit on the sidelines if I saw something that could be improved.
As a psychotherapist, I see the impact of stress on individuals and families. This understanding underpins my motivation to be a public representative. I have a natural interest and focus on positive health initiatives and want to work to forge changes that are progressive and are aimed at health and well-being for all people, young and old.
