Sandyford attracts more high tech jobs

The local Fine Gael TD, Peter Mathews, today warmly welcomed the announcement that Salesforce will expand its workforce in Sandyford by creating over 100 new jobs. The company will immediately hire qualified professionals in sales, marketing, IT and customer support functions.

“This adds to a long list of job announcements in Sandyford Business Park.
In the last year

· Dun & Bradstreet created 75 new jobs
· Xintec Revenue created 24 new jobs
· Bluebird Care created 25 new jobs
· Sim Travel created 14 new jobs

“These jobs mean that 238 local families have been provided with an income and a livelihood over the past year. Just as importantly, it provides hope for the many unfortunate people who find themselves unemployed.

“I am delighted to see that so many companies have faith in Ireland’s future and are expanding their workforce.

Salesforce is a pioneer of cloud computing. They have been investing in Ireland since 2000 and the Dublin office is the European hub for their commercial sales operation.

Salesforce was recently named 27th on Fortune’s 100 best places to work list. It was recognised by Forbes as the world’s most innovative company.
