Public Consultation Evening for Upgrading Kildare Train Service

“I have been informed that a public consultation evening is to be held in The Mill, Celbridge Community Centre on Tuesday 12th July from 5pm €“ 8pm to provide details of the plans to upgrade the current train line from Inchicore to Hazelhatch” said Kildare North TD, Anthony Lawlor.

This meeting will provide property owners and occupiers with details of the Kildare Route Project Phase 2 which includes the electrification of the route from Inchicore to Hazelhatch in order to deliver DART services.

The project team will be available in the Community Centre to explain and advise the public on any questions they may have regarding the project. “I would encourage the people of Celbridge to pop into the consultation meeting and to inform themselves of the details of the project. The upgrading of the current train line to a DART service will be of huge benefit to the town of Celbridge and the surrounding areas by substantially easing access to the city centre in terms of speed and frequency.
