Parliamentary Question addressed to the Minister for Education and Skills
25th February 2014 - Olivia Mitchell TD
To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if he will provide an update on the progress of the four primary schools in Dublin 16 and 18, listed on the five year programme for schools and planned to progress to construction in 2015/2016; and if he will make a statement on the matter?

I wish to advise the Deputy that a building project for one of the schools is currently at an advanced stage of architectural planning. However, this is now subject to a third party appeal to An Bord Pleanala and the Department awaits the outcome.
My Department continues to work closely with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council in relation to identifying and acquiring suitable sites for the provision of permanent accommodation for the other schools in Dublin 16 and 18 on the 2015/16 programme.
