Minister Donohoe welcomes initiative to further regulate event licensing

Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, and Fine Gael TD for Dublin Central, Paschal Donohoe TD, has today (Tuesday) welcomed the signing of revised event licensing regulations by the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly TD, and Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Paudie Coffey TD, saying the new structures will ensure that the confusion and conflict that arose last summer in respect of the scheduling of certain outdoor events is not repeated again in the future.

Kilmainham Courthouse visitor project to feature on new Dublin Discovery Trails – Byrne

Fine Gael Dublin South Central TD, Catherine Byrne, has said that there has been great progress on the Kilmainham courthouse project which is set to feature prominently in a new tourist initiative called Dublin Discovery Trails, launched today by Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe TD. The themed trails will link to the Dubline, the tourist trail which runs from Kilmainham Gaol, via Trinity College, to Parnell Square which was developed by Fáilte Ireland and Dublin City Council.
