Minister Coffey announces €35 million for Waterford Social Housing Projects

Fine Gael Waterford Minister Paudie Coffey has announced €35 million for Waterford Social Housing Projects for the period 2015-2017. Minister Coffey said that this will reduce the housing waiting list by 40% in that period in Waterford and deliver 760 units, this investment will create and sustain 280 jobs in Waterford over that period.

Minister Coffey welcomes the end of milk quotas for Dairy farmers

Fine Gael Waterford Minister Paudie Coffey has said as of midnight, Wednesday 1st April, Irish dairy farmers are no longer obliged to limit their productivity in order to comply with milk quotas. Farmers will be free to increase their productivity as they will no longer be constrained by the limitations of milk quotas. Minister Coffey welcomed the long awaited abolition of milk quotas:

Fine Gael today (Tuesday) launched a campaign to stand up for small businesses and self-employed people across Ireland. The campaign was launched at Krust Bakery in Dublin this morning by An Taoiseach and Leader of Fine Gael, Enda Kenny TD, Aine Collins TD, Liam Twomey TD and Tom Barry TD.
