Noone calls on TDs and Senators to take up the 10,000 steps a day challenge
Fine Gael Dublin Senator, Catherine Noone, has today (Tuesday) called on TDs and Senators to take up the challenge to walk 10,000 steps per day over the summer. Senator was speaking at the launch of the annual Oireachtas walk, organised by her colleague, Minister Jimmy Deenihan.

Her comments come after a Safefood Ireland survey showed 90% of parents believe 30 minutes of school time should be devoted to PE every day.
