Funding of €200,000 makes plans for Blessington day care centre a reality – Harris
Fine Gael TD for Wicklow, Simon Harris, has today (Thursday) welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Health, James Reilly TD, that €200,000 in funding from the National Lottery Discretionary Fund has been granted to Blessington day care centre. Deputy Harris has been working closely with members of the Blessington community over the last number of months as the group prepared to submit its application.

I thank the Ceann Comhairle for taking this important topic. We need to have a wider debate on energy security and demand as there is much public concern about this matter. We, as public representatives, have a responsibility to advocate the people’s views and concerns on the floor of the House to have them addressed
