Fine Gael Waterford Deputy Paudie Coffey has said news that FeedHenry had announced an expansion of 100 jobs was a further boost to Waterford City and a number of these jobs will also be for their facility in Dublin. Deputy Coffey said this announcement had followed on from other significant announcements in recent weeks, all of which underpins the quality and employability of the labour force in Waterford.

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal Alan Farrell has urged voluntary community groups in Fingal to apply for funding to the Dublin Bus Community Spirit Initiative, which is now seeking applications.

To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of applications for funding received to the credit guarantee scheme since it has been established; the number of approved loans; the amount that has been paid out to date; the feedback that has been received on job creation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when he will be carrying out reviews under the intensified inspection programme on rental properties in Fingal, County Dublin; the areas that will be inspected; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I thank Deputy Tom Fleming for introducing the motion. As with previous speakers, I welcome any measure that will result in an increase in rates of organ donation. The reference to "presumed consent" in the programme for Government opened up a conversation on this issue and it is appropriate that the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Health and Children, Deputy Jerry Buttimer, arranged for a discussion of organ donation to take place in the past two weeks.

Laois Offaly TD Charlie Flanagan has welcomed the request by An Bord Pleanala for the submission of an Environmental Impact Statement by Eirgrid in respect of the proposed substation and overhead lines in Ratheniska.

Basically this is a technical Bill. I had not intended to speak on it but having heard the inexplicable response of the Opposition, I felt compelled to do so.
