Sustained approach of Action Plan for Jobs will help rebuild our economy

Speaking following the publication of the final progress report under the Action Plan for Jobs 2012, Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell, said that the measures being implemented under the plan are helping to rebuild our economy. The report shows that 92% of the 270 measures committed to under the Plan have been delivered. The Action Plan for Jobs covers all 15 Government departments, as well as 36 State agencies.

Numbers on trolleys in Naas Hospital halved in 2 years

Anthony Lawlor, would like to commend the doctors, nurses and all the staff in Naas General Hospital for their efforts in halving the number of patients waiting on trolleys in the hospital over the last two years.

Conway welcomes first new Flybe service for Shannon

Fine Gael Clare Senator, Martin Conway, has welcomed the announcement that Flybe is to operate a year-round return service between Shannon Airport and Glasgow. The three time weekly service, beginning in May, is expected to bring over 10,000 additional passengers through Shannon this year.
