Dáil Question on Service Level Agreements issued to budget service companies

To ask the Minister for Social Protection the contents of the new service level agreement that has been issued to the money advice and budgeting service companies and in particularly the concerns raised by MABS officials in relation to the restrictive nature of the agreements; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

McGuinness must clarify whether he signed off on son’s €71k expenses bill

Fine Gael TD for Dublin North, Alan Farrell, has called on Fianna Fáil TD and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, John McGuinness, to clarify whether he signed off on the €71,353 in overtime, mileage and subsistence claimed by his son, Cllr Andrew McGuinness, when he worked in his father's Ministerial office at the Department of Enterprise from 2007 to 2009. This included €30,000 in overtime payments in 2008 alone, as reported in today's Irish Independent.

LEADER jobs announcement shows Govt is committed to supporting local businesses – McEntee

Fine Gael Meath East TD, Helen McEntee, has today (Friday) said the announcement by Meath Partnership that 103 new jobs have been created in Meath as a direct result of LEADER investment shows that the Government is committed to supporting local businesses. The jobs are being created in small and medium sized businesses being supported under the LEADER programme, which is co-funded by the Government and the EU.
