Agreement is good news for Meath beef farmers – Doherty
Fine Gael TD for Meath East, Regina Doherty, has today (Thursday), said the agreement reached on the beef issues will address many of the concerns raised by beef farmers in Co. Meath. An agreement was reached in the early hours of Thursday morning at the Beef Forum chaired by Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney TD.
Extension of betting shop opening hours included in Finance Bill- Heydon
Fine Gael TD for Kildare South, Martin Heydon, has today (Thursday) welcomed the inclusion in the Finance Bill amendments of a provision to extend the opening hours of licenced bookmaking premises from 7am in the morning to 10pm in the evening during winter hours.
