€440,000 in funding to benefit Dublin West social housing – Keating

Fine Gael Dublin Mid-West TD, Derek Keating, has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Housing and Planning, Jan O’Sullivan TD, that 35 vacant homes in the Dublin South County Council area, which covers Dublin Mid-West, are to be brought back into use within twelve months.

Harrington welcomes funding of €100k towards further development of Castletownbere Harbour

Noel Harrington, Fine Gael TD for Cork South West, today (Wednesday) welcomed the allocation of €100,000 in funding from Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney TD, for further development of Castletownbere Harbour. The funding will go towards the carrying out of an underwater survey on the sea bed, to assess whether the construction of an additional deep water quay at Castletownbere is possible.

Noone delighted to be appointed to Council of Europe

Fine Gael Dublin Senator, Catherine Noone, has said she is delighted to have been be asked by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD, to take up a position on the Council of Europe, following the vacancy created by the election of Senator Deirdre Clune to the European Parliament.
