Fine Gael TD for Roscommon/South Leitrim, Frank Feighan, has warmly welcomed an allocation of €60,000 in Inland Fisheries funding to the Ballyleague riverbank development, which now ensures phase one of the project is fully financed and can proceed as planned.

Noel Harrington, Fine Gael TD for Cork South West, today (Wednesday) welcomed the allocation of €100,000 in funding from Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney TD, for further development of Castletownbere Harbour. The funding will go towards the carrying out of an underwater survey on the sea bed, to assess whether the construction of an additional deep water quay at Castletownbere is possible.
