To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs her views on the growing number of assaults on staff members at Oberstown House, County Dublin, since the age of limit of residents has been raised to 18 years; if there has been any review of the safety of the facility since these changes have been made; if there are plans to increase support staff as a result of these changes; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Alan Farrell, Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal has said that Fingal County Council will receive extra government funding for local and regional road resurfacing, in addition to almost €14 million of grants allocated this year to the north county.

Cork receives highest national allocation signalling sustained spending by local authority on upkeep of roads Fine Gael Cork South West Deputy, Áine Collins, has welcomed the announcement of more than €6.5 million to be spent on the upkeep and repair of local and regional roads across the county. The announcement was made by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar TD, as part of an overall package of €50 million for roads nationally. "As part of a €50 million expenditure allocation that has been approved by Government for the repair, upkeep and maintenance of local and regional roads across the country, Cork County Council has been allocated €5,818,342, with the City Council being awarded €759,304.

To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if he has examined the possibility of regulating cash for gold establishments due to the current value of gold and the increased risk of gold theft; and if he will make a statement on the matter

To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if she will advise on her consultations with pre-school representatives in relation to the current pre-school year and any possible increase to this facility; if there are any concerns raised by the industry regarding costs and regulation; the submissions she has received from pre-school managers; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the measures that have been put in place with regard to the improvements of the Student Universal Support Ireland system; if a guaranteed turnaround time for completed applications has been agreed; the measures that were put in place in 2012 and 2013 to ensure that staff are fully trained; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
