Deputy Buttimer has also said that exorbitant costs of new drugs and how much is paid by the State must be examined.

Limerick Fine Gael TD Patrick O'Donovan has secured the agreement of the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe TD, to amend the Roads Bill 2014. Patrick O'Donovan sought an amendment that would allow the National Roads Authority to carry out pre-planning consultations with An Bord Pleanála before making applications for planning permission to construct new roads.
