Imelda Daly

I’m honoured to have been selected as the Fine Gael candidate for Cork North Central in the 2024 General Election. Living in Glanmire with my husband and two children, I understand the challenges and opportunities our community faces daily. I’ve taught in Scoil Naomh Micheál, Upper Glanmire, for over 17 years and volunteer with Brooklodge Community Centre and Foróige, giving me a deep connection to the needs of our area.

My Key Priorities
• Education: Securing better resources and support for children, teachers, and schools in Cork North Central.
• Childcare: Making childcare accessible and affordable for all families.
• Supporting Farmers: Advocating for Cork’s farming community and the vital contributions they make.
• Community Development: Strengthening resources for local community centres and initiatives.
