Cllr. Michael Murphy

I live in Clonmel with my wife Jacinta and our son Alex. I am your Fine Gael candidate for Tipperary South asking you to vote for me in the General Election.

I am always available – not just at election time. I strive to deliver new developments and enhancement for every parish in South Tipperary. My roots are deeply entrenched across the constituency and as a family man I am closely involved with local communities and understand their challenges. I was elected to South Tipperary County Council in 2009 and have been re-elected at every Local Election since. I’m currently the Mayor of Clonmel for the second time and have served on the EU Committee of the Regions since 2015. My European experience gives me an insight into how EU decisions impact on citizens locally. My 15 years political experience combined with 30 years’ experience as a Senior Executive with the Enfer Technology Group qualify me to effectively represent the people of South Tipperary.
