Minister Bruton publishes legislation aimed at reducing red tape on cooperatives
The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, T.D., today (Thursday) published new legislation to ease the regulatory burden on co-operative societies and make it easier to start up and run a co-op as an alternative form of enterprise organisation.

"Ease of access to supports is crucial in providing our indigenous businesses with the help they need and to encourage entrepreneurship. We know that 70% of new jobs created will come from new businesses, so having a one-stop- shop facility for businesses to go to will help speed up the process greatly and ensure that there's a consistency in service
