Dympna Daly-Finn
Dympna Daly-Finn works as an Auxiliary Nurse at Sligo University Hospital. She is married to Stephen and has two sons. She is the youngest of twelve children and grew up in Arigna, a small coal mining village in North Roscommon. Her father and three brothers were miners before the mines closed, and she recognises how important employment and opportunities are for any thriving community.
Dympna recognises the importance having a Fine Gael TD for Roscommon-Galway to represent the interests of the area. She is passionate about rural Ireland. She wants to see fresh investment across all communities in all parts of Roscommon/Galway and to make the area a great place for young families to live and work.
If elected, Dympna will ensure that rural Ireland continues to receive proper investment, to include adequate housing and childcare for working families. As a healthcare practitioner, she also feels strongly about the need for reliable community healthcare to service the elderly and the disabled in their own localities.
