Cllr. Sharon Tolan
Cllr Sharon Tolan is a new Fine Gael General Election candidate for Meath East. Living in Bettystown with her husband Ivan, and their three grown-up children, Sharon’s journey as a lifelong volunteer, community activist, and passionate campaigner began in 2006.
With over a decade of experience as a local Councillor, Sharon understands what truly matters to the people of Meath East and how to get things done. As Cathaoirleach of Meath County Council, she engages with local communities daily, listening to their needs and working to enhance public services for families across county Meath.
Sharon has been instrumental in addressing the issues that affect daily lives, including transport, education, housing, health, and the environment. Her extensive experience at both local and national levels equips her with the vision, skills, and expertise to represent Meath East effectively in the Dáil.
Believing in positive, effective, and progressive politics, Sharon is a fresh thinker, a straight talker, and a dedicated worker. Together, we can create a brighter future for Meath East.
