Coghlan welcomes opening of new Kenmare community hospital

Fine Gael Kerry Senator and Seanad Chief Whip, Paul Coghlan has welcomed confirmation from the HSE that it is now in possession of the new community hospital in Kenmare. Senator Coghlan made his comments yesterday (Wednesday) during Order of Business in the Seanad.

Coffey welcomes new consultant posts at Waterford Regional Hospital

Fine Gael Waterford Deputy, Paudie Coffey, has welcomed news that a number of consultant posts are currently being filled, with additional posts to be filled over the coming period at Waterford Regional Hospital (WRH). Deputy Coffey was informed of this by the Minister for Health, Dr. James Reilly TD, and has said that these posts will help to reduce outpatient waiting lists at WRH in the short, medium and long term.

Coffey welcomes Sensible Planning Move on Septic Tank Remediation Measures

Fine Gael Waterford Deputy Paudie Coffey has welcomed news from the Minister of State at the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government Jan O Sullivan TD that where remediation works need to be carried out on Septic Tanks no planning permission will be necessary. Deputy Coffey has said this is a sensible move that will allay the fears of many people around the country and will put to bed the scaremongering that has gone on in recent months by opportunistic opposition politicians.
