A proposed Malin Head to Kinsale walking route will boost tourism in nine coastal counties along the Wild Atlantic Way and help communities rebuild after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Programme for Government contains a suite of measures to promote a better work life balance, a Fine Gael TD has said. 

Fine Gael LGBT has welcomed the inclusion of a number of measures in the Programme for Government that will, among other things, afford greater rights to LGBT parents and to younger trans people who wish to have their change in gender recognised by the State. 

Fine Gael TD, Neale Richmond, has welcomed the inclusion in the Programme for Government of a commitment to introduce Baby Boxes for all new parents in Ireland. 

Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar and Tánaiste, Simon Coveney, have strongly encouraged Fine Gael members to vote yes to a progressive Programme for Government, that will give Ireland the stable government needed to rebuild the economy and renew our society following the Covid19 pandemic.

The new Programme for Government contains key actions on tackling racism and promoting integration according to the Fine Gael Intercultural group, whose policy submission helped shape the document.

The Fine Gael Agricultural Affairs Group has given its support to the Programme for Government, after a fruitful meeting with Minister Michael Creed this week. A virtual meeting took place on Friday with Minister Michael Creed, Minister Helen McEntee and Party Chair Martin Heydon, and following a good discussion the group has decided to support the formation of the proposed Government with Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Green Party.
