Speech on the Fiscal Responsibility Bill 2012
I welcome the opportunity to speak on the Fiscal Responsibility Bill 2012. I will briefly address the fiscal rules which the Bill introduces, bearing in mind the extent to which these matters have already been debated in the Dáil, on television programmes and, most importantly, the doorsteps. Ireland's debt-to-GDP ratio was 108.5% in our first quarter and continues to rise.

Dáil Question on a Gaelcholaiste for Kildare North
To ask the Minister for Education and Skills her views on the establishment of a Gaelcholáiste in North Kildare; if her Department has analysed figures from the area that would suggest the need for a Gaelcholáiste, particularly based on the demand for places in Gaelscoilleanna; her views on the limited capacity at a school (details supplied) in County Dublin which currently caters for students from Kildare North; and if she will make a statement on the matter. – Anthony Lawlor.
