Coastal walk will attract extra tourists to the North Clare region – Conway

Clare Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway has today (Friday) welcomed the opening of a new walking route from Doolin to Liscannor via the Cliffs of Moher, saying it will help to attract extra tourists to the North Clare area. Senator Conway is due to attend the official opening of the 12km route later today.

Coffey welcomes €2.8m of approved funding for Cheekpoint Sewerage Scheme

Fine Gael Waterford Deputy, Paudie Coffey, has the announcement by Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan TD, that he has approved €2.8 million of funding for the construction of the Cheekpoint Sewerage Scheme, Sewerage Network Upgrade and Wastewater Treatment Plant Design Build Contract. This funding is part of the Seven Villages Sewerage Scheme and is included in the Minister’s Water Services Investment Programme, which will lead to improved water quality in the area when the works are completed.

Goods exports up 6% on annual basis – Minister Bruton

The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, today (Friday) welcomed new merchandise trade figures published by the CSO which show that goods exports in April are up 6% on the same month in 2012.

Fine Gael Waterford Deputy Paudie Coffey has welcomed news from the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government Phil Hogan TD that he has approved €2.8 million worth of funding for the construction of the Cheekpoint Sewerage Scheme, Sewerage Network Upgrade and Wastewater Treatment Plant Design Build Contract. This funding is part of the seven villages sewerage scheme is included in the Minister’s Water Services Investment Programme and will lead to an improved water quality in the area when these works are completed.

Funds approved for Rush waste water facility

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal Alan Farrell has confirmed that over €2.7 million has been approved by the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government Phil Hogan to progress vital works on the waste water sewage scheme in Rush.
