Hayes to call for European Parliament Motion for ECB to appear before Oireachtas Banking Inquiry
Fine Gael Dublin MEP, and member of the European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee, Brian Hayes, said today (Friday) that he will be calling for a European Parliament Motion for Resolution to request that the ECB comes before the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry to explain ECB decisions during the banking crisis. Mr Hayes made the call while speaking on RTÉ’s Sean O'Rourke show this morning.
Neville elected to Fine Gael Executive Council
Fine Gael TD for Limerick and Chairman of Fine Gael Parliamentary Party, Dan Neville TD, was unanimously elected to replace Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan TD on the Fine Gael Executive Council, at a meeting of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party which took place on Wednesday 5th November.

Fine Gael TD for Limerick and Party Chairman, Dan Neville TD, has welcomed the commitment made by Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O’Sullivan TD, in a letter to Deputy Neville that €10 million has been ring fenced for investment in the University of Limerick library project.
