Job creation is the best way to reduce poverty – Byrne

“Job creation is the best way to lift people out of poverty”, says Fine Gael Dublin South Central TD Catherine Byrne. Deputy Byrne was speaking after CSO figures revealed that an extra 90,000 people are at work since the launch of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs in 2012.

Over 75% of new jobs in 2014 created by Irish companies – Corcoran Kennedy

Heydon calls for Bus Éireann & NTA to come before Joint Oireachtas Transport Committee

Fine Gael Kildare South TD and Chairman of Fine Gael’s Internal Agriculture Committee Martin Heydon, has today (Tuesday) called on the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications to bring Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority (NTA) before them to discuss the changes to Expressway routes announced yesterday.
