Hayes expresses concern over possible legal threat against Ireland
Fine Gael MEP for Dublin, Brian Hayes has today (Friday) expressed concern that the European Commission may refer Ireland to the EU Court of Justice. The possible action is due to Ireland's failure to introduce biometric identifiers in resident permits issued to third country nationals – individuals applying for visas in other countries.
