Senator Tim Lombard

He has been a full-time public representative since 2016 when he was first elected to Seanad Eireann. He served as a member of Cork County Council for 13 years prior to that and has always enjoyed working for his local community and striving to make Cork South West the best possible place to live in, work in and raise a family in.

He is Fine Gael Spokesperson on Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Marine and Leas-Chathaoirleach of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and Marine.

Tim is also a passionate advocate for dyslexic services and working to ensure a level playing field for all students.

Tim has a strong sense of community having been involved in local sports clubs and community organisations for over 30 years.

A family man, Tim is married to Catherine and they have four children.

Tim comes from a family who ran small family farms for generations and now he runs the family farm alongside his wife, his mother and the children.

Tim is a committed and conscientious public representative with a strong work ethic. He has a proven track record in turning up and speaking up for the people of Cork South West.
