Cllr. John Paul O'Shea

John Paul works alongside his colleague Cllr. Trish Murphy in Cork County Council, to ensure the people living in the Kanturk Electoral Area are well served by Cork County Council and by the Government.

John Paul is also the Leader of the Fine Gael grouping in the Council, and is a former Mayor of the County of Cork, serving in the role in 2015/16.

Outside politics, John Paul is an active member of a number of a number of community, voluntary and sporting organisations. Both as an elected representative and a citizen, he is a passionate about his local area and constituency.

It is his aim to ensure that his constituent’s voices are heard and that their communities are properly represented at a local and national level.
