Cllr Pauric Clerkin
About Pauric
I’m Pauric Clerkin and I grew up on a farm in Knockatallon, on the doorstep of the beautiful Sliabh Beagh Mountains.
I currently live in Tydavnet, a small and thriving rural community in North Monaghan. I’m 32 years old and I’m married to Laura, and we have a young son together.
I’m employed as a Parliamentary Assistant with Minister for Social Protection and Rural & Community Development Heather Humphreys T.D. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Journalist and Media Tutor in Ireland and Scotland.
Community is very close to my heart, I volunteer with my local soccer club, where I hold the position as Chairperson. I helped create a youth academy within Killylough F.C to support young people in our community with their social development and to continue living active and healthy lifestyles.
