Cllr Marie-Thérèse Duffy

Marie-Thérèse is a Primary School Teacher with a keen interest in languages and health and wellbeing. She has a Masters in Education from Trinity College and has previously worked in Brussels in the European School of Brussels IV.

She was elected as a member of the Northern and Western Regional Assembly and is committed to accelerating regional development and investment in North Mayo.

Marie-Thérèse is a committed and hardworking representative for her constituents.

Her priorities are:

• Provision of housing across the district
• Upgraded transport infrastructure and road safety that improves the flow of traffic
• Improved access to health care
• Ensure the basics infrastructure, footpaths, roads, tree and hedge cutting is maintained and developed across the district
• Enhance Tourism Opportunities for North Mayo
