Cllr Jarlath Munnelly
Jarlath Munnelly was elected to Mayo County Council in 2004, and re-elected in 2009 & 2014. He is a qualified teacher, and a graduate of the University of Limerick.
Jarlath has a proven track record of delivery, including many improvements to roads, community facilities, piers, beaches and other amenities in the Ballina area.
He has prioritised job creation and has been a strong supporter of developments at the former Asahi site in Killala.
Jarlath wants to see the former Asahi site in Killala “becoming a 21st century industrial park, capable of supporting employment for people across North Mayo.”
Jarlath’s vision for the Ballina Area is:
