Cllr Maeve Reynolds

Cllr Maeve Reynolds

My name is Maeve Reynolds, and I live between Drumsna and Jamestown, with my husband Liam and our three preschool children.

After attending Annaduff NS and Marian College Mohill, I studied Science Teaching at the University of Limerick and later obtained a further maths qualification. I’ve travelled extensively, volunteered at home and abroad in Africa, played GAA and Irish music.

Throughout school and college, I worked at Cox’s Laundrette and Cryans Hotel. Following a decade of teaching, I decided to stay at home, raising our family due to challenges in securing full-time childcare. Having a very young family, I appreciate all the challenges facing families today. As a part-time farmer and with my Agricultural Science teaching experience, I understand the plight of small farmers, recognising them and small businesses as the backbone of our community.

Committed to addressing local concerns and preserving our rural landscape while fostering thriving rural and urban communities, I’m eager to engage and listen to everyone, working on your behalf.

Your support means the world to me.
