I am delighted to say I have been nominated to run in the local election for Galway County Council on June the 7th on the Fine Gael ticket. I would be honoured to represent the views of the people of South Galway.
My grandparents and father all hail from Maree but relocated to Kiltartan when he was a child. I grew up on the family farm and attended school in Kiltartan NS and then onto Gort Community School thereafter.
I currently live in Carrowgarriff, Kinvara and am married to Aisling Murphy with three young boys, the oldest of which attends St. Josephs Kinvara NS. I am a secondary school teacher in Galway city and part time farmer of the family farm in Kiltartan. With my
farming background and being a very keen sports enthusiast, I’m very aware of the importance of the local community and volunteerism.
