Cllr Caroline Cronin
Caroline was co-opted as a Councillor in March, 2022 – replacing Katie Murphy, who resigned due to work commitments.
Caroline lives and works on the Mizen Peninsula, raising her family with her husband Seán.
They are a hard working West Cork family involved in the fishing industry. Her first and most important job is being Mom to their three daughters, and so she understands the stresses and challenges of raising a family in a rural area with the cost of living rising rapidly.
Caroline is passionate about her community. “I have always loved helping people, both young and old, no matter how big or small a problem is, I’m always willing to help”
She is heavily involved in her local GAA club, Gabriel Rangers, and is PRO for both ladies and mens teams.
“I am a new face to Fine Gael, I intend to be a strong, effective and a hard working voice in dealing with the issues that matter to everyone in this area”
Housing really is a huge priority, and Caroline intends to work hard on the need for
- social housing
- serviced sites
- affordable housing schemes
“I want to go forward on a positive note, and represent Fine Gael to the very best of my ability, I can guarantee I will listen to all issues that will be brought to my attention and do everything I can to help”
