Cllr John Michael Foley
John Michael Foley is the Fine Gael local election candidate for Bandon-Kinsale. He lives in Timoleague and is married to Denise, a primary school teacher, and has four children. A self-employed Funeral Director, monumental mason and farmer. Together with Denise, his father, theirr loyal staff and family members,they work as a very good team.
He is very involved in the local community; Tidy Towns, community festival, community educational garden, GAA, IFA and as a former board member of Barryroe Co-op.
Priorities: Care of the disabled, sick and elderly is very important to him, as his mother is confined to a wheelchair for over 35 years and is cared for at home.
Values: Empathy, dignity and respect are his core values. He is committed to community; has experience in dealing with people and is a good listener.
Experience: With his experience as a farmer, businessman, employer, community person, parent and carer, he has the passion and ambition to bring a new energy to this role.
