Fine Gael TD for Limerick City Kieran O’Donnell has wished Maria Byrne every success following her election to Seanad Éireann.
Deputy O’Donnell said: “I wish to warmly congratulate our Limerick colleague Maria Byrne on being elected as the Fine Gael candidate in today’s Seanad Eireann Agricultural Panel bye-election and wish her every success as she takes up her role.
“Maria will make a terrific addition to the Fine Gael team in the Seanad with the vast experience she brings of working in public life and I look forward to working with Senator Byrne.”
