21st May 2013 - Daniel Rowan
Welcoming the appointment of Neil Pakey as the new CEO of Shannon Airport, Fine Gael Limerick City Deputy, Kieran O’Donnell, said the filling of the position is key to the future growth and development of the facility, which is now operating as an independent entity.
“Having been granted independence from the Dublin Airport Authority just a few short months ago, Shannon now has the ability to determine its own destiny and to develop to its true potential.
“The appointment of Mr. Pakey, with his years of experience in the world of aviation, signals a really positive development for Shannon Airport. I am delighted that this role has been filled and I wish Mr. Pakey well in leading the Airport to commercial success which is important for the entire region.”
