Neville elected to Fine Gael Executive Council

Fine Gael TD for Limerick and Chairman of Fine Gael Parliamentary Party, Dan Neville TD, was unanimously elected to replace Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan TD on the Fine Gael Executive Council, at a meeting of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party which took place on Wednesday 5th November.
Speaking after his election Deputy Neville said:
“It is a great honour to be chosen by the Fine Gael Oireachtas Members to be one of their representatives on the Executive Council. The Executive Council is made up of representatives from within the Party including Oireachtas Members, Councillors and grass root members.
“Members of the Executive Council are charged with the organisation and management of the Party including candidate election selections, fundraising and taking action on disciplinary matters.”
