Mitchell welcomes 95 new jobs in Dublin South
25th November 2013 - Olivia Mitchell TD
Fine Gael TD for Dublin South, Olivia Mitchell, has today (25/11/2013) welcomed Microsoft Ireland’s announcement of 95 new jobs at its campus in Sandyford, Dublin South.
“I am delighted that Microsoft continues to expand its workforce in Dublin South, which now stands at over 1,900.
“Microsoft is creating 30 new development roles, 35 new graduate positions, and a further 30 positions in a range of professional services roles. These graduate positions will be very welcome news for third level students and recent graduates.
“Today’s news builds on recent job announcements at Salesforce.com and the opening of Dell Bank in Dublin South earlier this year, reflecting the skilled workforce, excellent business facilities and transport links available in Dublin South.
“The creation of 95 new jobs in Microsoft comes as an early Christmas present for Dublin South and further cements Dublin’s status as the internet capital of Europe.”
