Minister Deenihan welcomes new consultant for Tralee as part of HSE Kerry and Cork Operational Plan

Minister Jimmy Deenihan, Fine Gael TD for Kerry especially welcomed the approval to recruit a third ED Consultant for Kerry General Hospital in Tralee.
Minister Deenihan said
“This appointment will be a major addition to the existing services at Kerry General Hospital.
“This is the first Operational Plan following the publication of the Community Healthcare Organisation Report in November 2014 and the establishment of Cork and Kerry as the CHO in this area.
“A particular emphasis in this year’s plan is on continuing to enhance the quality of community based services in Cork and Kerry.”
