Keating receives apology from An Bord Pleanála in relation to Lucan United development
18th January 2016 - Derek Keating TD
Fine Gael TD for Dublin Mid-West, Derek Keating, has received an apology from An Bord Pleanála following inaccurate reports suggesting he had objected to the Lucan United proposed development at Airlie Heights Lucan.
“I have received an apology from An Bórd Pleanála for its error in a report on a planning appeal, involving Lucan United and its proposed pitch development at Airlie Heights. This follows a newspaper report published October 2015, which inferred that I had lodged objections to Lucan United’s proposed development.
“I wrote to the Board requesting a correction of the Inspector’s Report.
“I have recently received a letter which confirms I neither made a submission to the County Council nor An Bórd Pleanála regarding the planning and appeal. The Board has apologised for the error and has amended its records.
“I have always been supportive of the development of Lucan United facilities at Airlie Heights and I was delighted to be in attendance when Lucan United beat Drogheda last Sunday week, 6-0 in the Cup.”
