Funding awarded for water mains rehabilitation in Allenwood

Fine Gael TD, for Kildare North, Anthony Lawlor, welcomes the news (today) that Minister for the Environment, Phil Hogan TD, has confirmed to Kildare County Council that funding of €385,793.42 is available for a small water main rehabilitation contract in Allenwood, Co. Kildare. The tender process has now been completed and work will commence on the project shortly.

“This small water main rehabilitation contract will aid an enhanced delivery of water to the people of Allenwood and also solve the issue of leakages in the area. I am delighted that this project has been confirmed and look forward to the project getting underway”.
