Fine Gael to host the European People’s Party Congress in Dublin on 6th-7th March

Fine Gael and its leader Taoiseach Enda Kenny will host the European People’s Party (EPP) Congress for the European elections in the Convention Centre Dublin on 6th and 7th March, 2014.
The EPP Congress will bring together the heads of government, party leaders, ministers, national and European parliamentarians, and delegates from EPP member parties throughout Europe. The EPP is the largest political party at European level with 12 EU heads of government, and 13 members of the European Commission. It is the largest group in the European Parliament with 73 member parties in 39 countries.
The EPP will select and unveil its candidate for the President of the European Commission at Congress in Dublin.
