An tAire Stáit Joe McHugh TD, “Fáiltim roimh an fógra maidin inniú ón Aire Stáit do Ghnóthaí Gaeltachta agus Acmhainní Nádúrtha, Seán Kyne TD, go bhfuil deontas suas le €4,800 ceadaithe aige do Áislann Chill Chartha, chun cur ar a gcumas an díon a dheisiú.
“Tá obair tábhachtach ar siúl ag an choiste gníomhach seo ar son pobal an Chill Charthaigh agus ar son na Gaeilge chomh maith. Táim sásta go bhfuil an maoiniú seo curtha ar fáil agus cinnte go gcuideoidh an deontas seo leo leanúint ar aghaidh leis an obair atá faoi bhun acu agus iad ag freastal ar mhuintir Chill Charthaigh.”

€4,800 sanctioned for Áislann Chill Chartha to carry out necessary repair works at the Centre
Minister of State Joe McHugh TD, “I welcome confirmation this morning from the Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Natural Resources Seán Kyne TD, that a grant of up to €4,800 has been sanctioned for Áislann Chill Chartha, to enable them to carry out roof repairs at the centre.
“This busy committee are carrying out important work on behalf of the community of Kilcar, and with regards the Irish language also. I’m delighted that this funding has been made available and I believe this grant will help them in continuing with the important work they carry out in attending to the Kilcar community.”
