Design Team for new Naas school

Fine Gael TD for Kildare North, Anthony Lawlor, warmly welcomes the announcement this morning (Wednesday) that contacts for the design team for a new second level school for Naas have been signed.

“I am delighted at this significant progress for the establishment of a new second level school for Naas. The new school, which will be located in the Millennium Park, will deal with the current high level of demand for school places. This demand is set to rise when the new Kerry Group facility is up and running in town as new families will be attracted to the area. The choice of Millennium Park is also a welcomed development as its location will allow for green field access for sporting facilities and will also ensure that traffic congestion in the main town will not be a problem.

“It is now imperative that this vital piece of infrastructure is progressed without delay and that there will be a speedy delivery of the new school for Naas”.
