6th June 2013 - Sean Conlan
Deputy Sean Conlan is delighted to welcome the capital funding grant which has been awarded to Inver College Carrickmacross.

He went onto say that “This is a great boost for a school which has already expanded greatly over the last number of years and will further add to the educational facilities provided for the children of Carrickmacross and indeed the rest of the surrounding south Monaghan area.
I am delighted to see this Government invest so heavily in the educational infrastructure of this County. Over the last number of Months we have seen the opening of the new VEC Campus in Monaghan which is a tremendous facility for the entire County. We have also seen Ard Scoil Lugan in Castleblayney receiving funding for an extension. Ballybay Community College, which was completed this year, is currently in the running for Ireland’s new favourite building with the Royal Irish Architect Institute.
The deputy continued by stating that since becoming elected in 2011 he has made it his priority to ensure that Monaghan and Cavan would be at the forefront of the cabinets mind when it came to allocating monies for various different projects throughout both Counties.
